I've started up a twitter account, "GoredGuar" [link] for doodles and sketches I do whilst at university (since I can't do any proper art here, my tablet's at home and I have no scanner).

.....It's been a long time, hasn't it? About a year! For various reasons I drifted away from DA, and barely picked up a pencil during 2011, (I could only find about four scribbles lying around the house, shame on me). Then in September it was off to university, where lectures, coursework and exams were all I could really think aboout, that and getting to grips with my new surroundings and "cooking" for myself *cough*failingmiserably*cough*.

Word to the young - don't forget about the milk shoved at the back of your fridge, ho gawd. And FOR THE LOVE OF DRAGONS especially DON'T open it in curiosity when you finally pick it out and observe that it doesn't....move much in the container anymore.
Just sayin'. It's not like that happened to me, of course not. Don't be ridiculous.



........... *ahem*



Then, over Christmas, when I went back home for the ol' family reunion and radioactive-milk-free cooking, I noticed the tablet gathering dust in the corner of my room. Of course, this was two days ago, so I've been frantically drawing thursday and saturday night after revision, and actually -managed- to finish a piece that didn't look like the dog chewed it up and spat it out backwards.

Now, I'm back at university, and that tablet is still at home (my sister needs it for her graphics coursework, and I'm in the middle of heavy exams this month), but come the end of january, I'm popping over and I'll bring it back with me.


NEW YEAR - > Resolution : Start to draw again, damnit! :]



And a note to all my ubertastic friends on DA, and any watchers that are still there - I know it's been a year, and I've been out of contact for particular reasons, but I love you all. <3
